update...

Hello,
well its been a very busy couple of months down here, and we have had a few changes to our plans *(surprise surprise)* but ill get to that,

I have been madly trying to get my application for scholl all orgainised and sent in, i finally dropped it off this Thursday was such a relief, im happy its done and now we just wait and see! but i thought id put up a bit of what ive been working on... and yeah i know it doesnt make alot of sence without explanation...



but two changes to the plan, we got our interview time for my US visa! which is great! but they moved it to Utah, which is not ideal but it means i get to come back for a couple of days! yay, and hopefully that will all go well and we wont have to look at it again for another 8 years!

and the other change is our friends the Parker's arnt coming down anymore so im just spending all of my non work time looking for somewhere for jord and I to live,,,, ahhhh life.

but thats it really! hope all is well with everyone!! i wouldn't know though cos you all suck at your blogs!! :) hahaha love you! but im not joking, i need pictures and updates cos i miss you all!!

Hello!

So I cannot believe i have been back in NZ for 3 weeks, its crazy how quickly the time has gone. the days have kind of been running into each other, I arrived early on Sunday morning to my brother Ashley and his lovely fiancee Natalie, who had braved the winter cold to pick me up at 5am, they were there in scarves, pajamas and with a GIANT sign..... they wrapped me up and I started work the next morning!

I am working with my brother which really is one of my favourite things in the world to do.I'm learning a lot, writing and implementing new training programs, and just got the go ahead to do some re-decorating at one of the Sites, so I'm busy busy which is good, cos new city without jord, not my favourite.

Ive been spending the weekends with my brother Scott and his family, as they upon hearing we were moving back, decided to move to the middle east!, i told them they could have just told us they didn't want to live in the same city, but apparently the desert is more appealing than Sunday dinners and games with jord and I... :)
They leave Qatar in November so I am soaking up all the time I can with the girls. Madeline is 7 and as wonderful as ever, devouring books faster than they can find them, and she is very excited about the move. Helena is getting so big!! and is the perfect two year old, pulling out everything, wearing nothing but Blue shoes and has a serious love of cake.


Scott's new job is very exciting, the best part is the visiting benefits kick in around May, so you know where Jord and I will be for our anniversary!!

so between work, visiting, preparing two sets of travel Visa's, Art School Application, University applications, i got sick... winter is so not my season. trying to now do as much as i can in front of the fire.

I have just realized that this is very much a journal entry, sorry. but I guess that's why we decided to keep up with the blog, so that we can look back over what we've done and be able to see the lords hand in it all. there's a poem that comes to mind,

"There are a thousand lives you can call by any name you want, but only one you can call your own."

I know that our life is not always logical or easy to keep track of but I know it's ours and I wouldn't have it any other way.

while we were in DC the lovely Katie Hart took our pictures and i couldn't LOVE them any more than i do. was a lot of fun to take and just so happy to have so pictures i want to print!

DC madness!

well its storming here in DC, so i thought id upload some of the bits and pieces weve been up to! we came out this week to spend some time with the beautiful Hart Family, it has been much fun, ive been kinda terrible with photos this trip as our new camera is not as good as our old one...(as jord announces after every shot) but we got a couple of good ones.

i also went to see Wicked! we found one single ticket for super cheap so i went and cried and clapped and laughed with a bunch of strangers!! was wonderful. jord was very sweet and waited for me outside!! then we checked out the monuments.





we still have a couple of days before we head back to Houston for about 5 mins, then off again off again to utah, the summer is slipping away!!

Auckland here we come! news of the day, I have been offered an opportunity to work in Auckland NZ, after much back and forth we have decided to take it! I will be heading down under early next month as i have to start ASAP. Jordan is going to stick around for a while to go to Tanner's game and enjoy some of the lingering summer. If all goes according to plan we will both be down early October. We are very excited and grateful for this next adventure and expect you all to come visit!

Sashie's Brirthday!!

on july ninth, my beautiful wife turned 23. I am so lucky to have her in my life.
We started the day with midnight breakfast and then we spent the rest of it going around art galleries.
